The personal data we process

Beansters processes your personal data if you have used our services and/or because you have provided us with the personal data in question. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:

  • First name and surname
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Other personal data that you actively provide (by creating a profile on this website, in correspondence and by telephone, for example).

It is not the intention for our website and/or service to collect personal data about website visitors who are under the age of 16. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. Given our inability to check whether a visitor is older than 16, we advise parents to be aware of the online activities of their children, which will prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are sure that we have collected personal data about a minor without consent, contact us via [email protected] and we will delete the information in question.

The purposes for which we process personal data

Beansters processes your personal data for the following purposes:

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyze the use of this website. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about the use of the website by means of cookies that are stored on the computers of users. The information generated in relation to our website is used to create reports on the use of the website. Google stores this information. How long we retain personal data

Beansters will retain your personal data no longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is collected. We retain your personal data for a maximum of 24 months and this data is only used for archive and statistical purposes. We only use your personal data for marketing purposes if you have given specific permission for this.

Sharing personal data to third parties

Beansters will only provide personal data to third parties when we are legally permitted to do so and then only if necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

To ensure that you are the originator of a request to access your personal data, always include a copy of your identity document with your request. To protect your privacy, always black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport) and your passport number and citizen service number (BSN). We will respond to your request as soon as possible, being within four weeks at the very latest. Beansters would like to point out that you also have the right to submit a complaint to the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Beansters takes the protection of your data seriously and puts appropriate measures in place to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised changes.
